Dion Galea

Dion is Deaf trans non-binary and has worked in few different careers all related to Auslan through teaching, interpreting and translating. They have grown up in Deaf community since the age of three, with support from their mum who believed in accessing to sign language through education and influenced them to become advocator to encourage Deaf & HOH children to have the same benefits without facing barriers. They believe Deaf & HOH children need to access Auslan is vital in developing communication, knowledge and confidence through educational benefits. Who could the Deaf community be without Auslan?
