Claire Hooper is a comic, a writer, a mother of a very little girl and a lover of great children's books, since long before she had the little girl.
In 2006 her show Oh' earned her both critical acclaim and a nomination for the Melbourne Comedy Festival's Best Newcomer award. She has gone on to perform regularly at festivals and comedy rooms across Australia.
Claire has appeared on television shows such as Good News Week, as well as The Sideshow, Rove, The Melbourne Comedy Festival's Great Debate and Opening Night Gala. She scored her dream job in 2015 as co-host of The Great Australian Bake Off, alongside Mel Buttle and judges Maggie Beer and Matt Moran.
