Chris Alosio is a rising star. He most recently completed filming on the upcoming Stan/CW/Roku series GOOD COP BAD COP opposite Leighton Meester, and was seen reprising his role in the second season of the popular Netflix series SURVIVING SUMMER and in the AACTA Award nominated ABC comedy series GOLD DIGGERS. He will next be seen in the highly anticipated feature film HOW TO MAKE GRAVY opposite Hugo Weaving for Binge, and in the title role in SBS’ upcoming drama MONI. Chris also recently starred in the A24 RackaRacka Brothers’ debut feature film TALK TO ME which premiered at Sundance followed by Berlin and SXSW, Taika Waititi’s feature film NEXT GOAL WINS alongside Elisabeth Moss and Michael Fassbender, the Paramount+/Network 10 drama series NORTH SHORE alongside Joanne Froggatt and John Bradley, and the ABC series THE MESSENGER as one of the lead ensemble cast.
Chris’ other credits include the New Zealand feature film MILLIE LIES LOW which premiered at the 2022 Berlin Film Festival, and ABC’s crime drama series TROPPO. Whilst in his second year of drama school, Chris was cast as a lead in the Foxtel series FIGHTING SEASON, then went on to graduate from New Zealand’s leading drama school, Toi Whakaari.
In 2019, Chris was awarded the AACTA Subscription Television Award for Best New Male Talent for his performance in the series.
