Sue Lawson is an award-winning author who writes books that challenge and delight. Sue worked in radio, with both ABC and commercial stations, and as a primary teacher. She has a Masters of Art, Writing and Literature and is passionate about developing a love for reading in young people.
Sue currently writes full-time and runs workshops and facilitates literary interviews and festivals.
Her books include award-winning young adult novels Freedom Ride and Pan's Whisper and picture book, The Biscuit Maker, illustrated by Liz Anelli. Sue also co-writes with Boonwurrung Elder, Aunty Fay Muir. Their books include Nganga and highly acclaimed picture books Respect, Family and Sharing, all part of the Magabala Books Our Place series.
