Sarah Grundy has written on many different subjects, from freemasonry to velvet worms, during her career in various office jobs. A stint editing educational books for children piqued her interest in writing her own book, but it was the arrival of her daughter that really inspired her to pick up a pencil and write. Sarah was the recipient of the 2016 Storylines Joy Cowley Award for The Curious Ar-Chew. She lives with her family in Wellington amongst kaka calls and ponga trees, but never too far from a good coffee.
