The Boy in the Big Blue Glasses Activity Time

After watching Susanne Gervay and Marjorie Crosby Fairall's The Boy in the Big Blue Glasses, read by Alice Zaslavsky, encourage kids to think about the importance of sight and why it’s important for children like Sammy to wear glasses.

Kids can play blindfold games, perhaps with wooden blocks, catch a soft ball or complete a wooden puzzle, to begin to understand how sight helps us to complete everyday tasks and why, when we don’t have sight, we need other tools to help us or to use other senses, such as touch.

Head to the The Boy in the Big Blue Glasses story page and click on the Activities tab to find the Activity Time instructions.
