Meet Ursula Dubosarsky

The Australian Children’s Laureate is an initiative developed by the Australian Children’s Laureate Foundation (ACLF).

The Laureate's role is to promote the importance of reading, creativity and story in the lives of young Australians.

Learn about our newest Australian Children's Laureate, Ursula Dubosarsky, who she is as a writer and her passion for language. 

The theme of Ursula's two-year term is Read For Your Life, recognising that reading often drops off after primary school and needs to be developed as a lifelong habit.
