PRE-VIDEO:
Do you like to read? Why or why not? What do you like (or dislike) about it?
How often do you read books? Every day, a few times a week, or rarely?
Do you have a favourite place to read? Why do you like to read there?
If you could have ANY reading space your imagination could invent – what would it look like? What would it have in it?
POST VIDEO:
Ben and Kirli talked about some of the places they liked to read when they were kids. Do you remember what some of those places were?
Ben talked about how a dedicated reading space allows us to take ‘time out’ from the world.
Why did Ben say that taking ‘time out’ was important?
