To support our subscribers in making the most of Story Box Library, we are initiating an ongoing series of online PD events that address Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. 

Our first event will focus on familiarising educators with the features and functions of Story Box Library. Presenters will discuss and offer insight into ways in which Story Box Library can be used as a digital resource to engage learners and enhance learning and teaching programs.

The event will run for 1.5 hours. Staff from Story Box Library will lead tutorials on the following topics for the first hour:

  • Account Settings
  • Playlist feature
  • Educational Resources
  • Search Functionality 
  • Accessibility features
  • Coming Soon

The last 30 minutes will consist of a Q&A session to review any participant questions from the topics we have covered. 

Attending the Story Box Library Online PD Session will contribute 1.5 hours of PD, addressing the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers:

  • Australian Teaching Standard 3.4.2- Select and Use Resources: Select and/or create and use a range of resources, including ICT, to engage learners in their learning.
  • Australian Teaching Standard 2.6.2- Information and Communication Technology (ICT): Use effective teaching strategies to integrate ICT into learning and teaching programs to make selected content relevant and meaningful.
