Andrea Rowe is a children’s / YA author, a writer of short stories and late night book reader.
An ex-radio announcer, and media and PR manager, she’s a copywriter for Australian not-for-profit organisations campaigns and websites that celebrate the environment, health and wellbeing and community connections. Andrea edits the Royal Flying Doctor Kids Club newsletter, and is a freelance writer for family magazines. She lives in the sand dunes of the Mornington Peninsula, where her writing days are fuelled by a secret stash of Cherry Ripes.
She is the winner of the 2020/21 Hal Porter Short Story Competition.
