Andrea Rowe

Andrea Rowe is a best-selling, award-winning picture book author, late-night book reader and wild place wanderer! Andrea’s picture books have become beloved best-sellers and won several awards, including Jetty Jumping (illustrated by Hannah Sommerville) for the 2022 CBCA Picture Book of the Year and the 2023 Australian Speech Pathology Picture Book of the Year. Her books In the Rockpool and Amid the Sand Dunes and Castle Crashing have all been CBCA Notable Picture Books of the Year.

Andrea is the inaugural Public Libraries ambassador for Victoria, and a May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust Fellow. If she wasn’t an author, she’d quite like to be a Cherry Ripe chocolate taste tester!
