We received so many AMAZING entries in our Story Tools: From Sketch to Finished Art competition that choosing a winner was SUPER hard! But after a lot of discussion, James Foley and the team have selected two brilliant winners ...

Drumroll please ...

The winner from Victoria is Amelia (Year 6), from Christ Our Holy Redeemer School in Oakleigh East.

And our Australia-wide winner is Alwyn (Year 5) from Mount Pleasant Primary School in South Australia.

Congratulations Amelia and Alwyn - your schools are set to receive visits (one in person and one virtually) from James Foley! And HUGE congratulations to everyone who participated and submitted an entry. We had a great time reviewing your fabulous Stellerphant creations.

"Our students thoroughly enjoyed participating in the James Foley competition, especially engaging with the different stages of the drawing process. They were captivated by the StoryTools video, which gave them a glimpse into how an author and illustrator brings stories to life. It inspired them to embrace their own creativity and truly connect with their work. They poured their hearts into their entries, working tirelessly for a week to perfect them, and couldn’t wait to submit their creations. Their fondness for the character Stellarphant was evident, as they brought it to life in their own unique ways. The entire experience has been both inspiring and rewarding for them."
Christ Our Holy Redeemer Primary School

We were particularly impressed with the entries from Christ Our Holy Redeemer Primary School and loved seeing the display they created with their work.

We can’t wait to share more about James’s school visits soon – stay tuned!
