Acknowledgement of Country

StoryBox Hub acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands, waterways and skies on which our stories are told and shared.

Below is an acknowledgement from one of our storytellers. This page features a different selection of voices each time you visit.

StoryBox and I acknowledge the Traditional Owners as the first storytellers and original custodians of the lands on which StoryBox Library stories are shared. We pay respect to their Elders and descendants who continue a long tradition of storytelling and honour their contribution to current and future generations of children and young people.

A note on our recordings:

Our storyteller acknowledgements have
been recorded in Victoria, New South
Wales, Queensland and Tasmania.

We are a Melbourne-based organisation
and our archive does not yet represent
every part of Australia — though our stories
are watched by children, families and
educators across the country and beyond.

We will continue to add voices over time.
